Principles of Swiss foreign policy

In implementing its federal export promotion mandate, Osec observes the basic principles of Swiss policy on foreign affairs and foreign trade. This covers aspects such as ethics, social justice, responsibility, child labour, forced labour, environmental protection, sustainability, labour law, social standards, defence against corruption and money laundering, observance of the regulations on dual-use goods (military and civilian use), the ban on exporting munitions, and international efforts to define social standards.
